What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Preferred.
• At least 1 year of sales and use tax experience Preferred.
• Multi-state sales and use tax experience Preferred.
• At least 2 years working in a business environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, research skills, and software skills (Specifically in Excel, OneSource, and Oracle).
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently, with the ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Can Offer Us

• Assist with sales and use tax compliance process, including data preparation, by filing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in multiple jurisdictions.
• Review customer and Company exemption certificates for pending expiration and completeness.
• Assist with business licenses portfolio in appropriate jurisdictions.
• Prepare registrations with state and local taxing authorities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations of month-end tax accruals related to sales and use tax.
• Assist with audits, exposure analyses, refund analyses, jurisdiction notices, and other matters as assigned.
